The Little Things: A Lush Lash

I often get asked if I'm wearing fake eye lashes & every girl knows this is the best compliment in the world. I get my lashes from my late Grandfather who often hid them behind aviators; looking like the badass he always was.

I infact have worn fake eye lashes before - they're fun & leave you with the perfect flirty look for hours. But they are heavy, hard to put on (for some people) & if you don't put them on straight they look awful!

Here are some tips for making your natual lashes look lush:

> Purchase a "one-coat nurishing" mascara. I use Almay's & have gotten many compliments since. Apply it on both the bottom & top of your lashes.

> Then use a mascara that you're most comfortable with. Apply a coating starting from the root of your lash & push your lashes up. Hold the brush against your lash as you get to the tip of the lashes; helping mold upward.

> Purchase my personal go-to, favorite of all time, secret ingredient mascara - Covergirl's Exact Eyelights! You're probably laughing at me for picking a $7 stick of goop you can get at the nearest CVS... BUT I love it for the brush. It's key. It's actually rubber instead of brissels & adds dimention to your lash without clumping.

> Make sure you apply all steps quickly - clumps form because the first coat applied has already dried & the fresh mascara is sticking to the lash unevenly.

Throw out the fakes & rock what you got.
